George Gidora, Burnaby-Douglas

George Gidora is the candidate for the Communist Party of Canada in Burnaby-Douglas. Now 56 years old, he grew up in Surrey, and has been involved in a wide range of progressive movements and issues across the Lower Mainland since he was a teenager.

Trained as a computer professional, George has worked for the Surrey and Delta School Districts, and is currently a transit worker.

He is a trade union activist, a member of the Fraser Valley Peace Council, and is keenly interested in environmental and social issues.
